OSS allows us to establish a supply chain that will have access to design and technical know-how gained over many years on some of the most demanding cabling and oil and gas projects.”

Carlos Granata, sales director, LIG Global Services, pointed to the growth in Brazilian infrastructure and pace of offshore developments as providing the ideal platform for growing the OSS business. “LIG is already a proven supplier to the cable laying market. As opportunities arise offshore we wish to be able to offer handling systems that are already tried and tested. In forming OSS with Caley Ocean Systems, we are able to focus our efforts on bringing the best offshore handling technology to this market.”
